Once you get to your location you will want to keep a few things in mind. You will want to take some type of a portable tree stand with you so that you can strap it to a tree and be ready for a little bit of comfort.  This is going to make your hunt a little less stressful. You can purchase these at any hunting and fishing store or you can look online and order one through the mail. You are also going to need to have some type of an elk call so that you can call in your game.

Now that you are settled and ready to begin the hunt, call the elk in.  You need to make sure that you have a bow in the arrow at all times.  You never know when you are going to see the game in front of you and it is best to be prepared.  You do not want to get nervous trying to get the arrow set within the bow and miss your opportunity.  You never know if you will get another one.
